Originally founded in 1919 on an old peach orchard, Gadsden Country Clubs golf facilities include an 18-hole 6,575 yard Bill Bergin designed golf course, two practice putting greens, driving range and practice chipping area. Beautiful tree-lined Bermudagrass fairways, undulating bent grass greens and more than 20 varieties of mature native trees – including two palm trees, are just a few characteristics of our course. The uniquely challenging, yet playable design will hold your attention round after round, and always bring you back for another.

Practice

You will find ample room to hone your game on our two practice putting greens, driving range and practice chipping area. During any season, our indoor golf simulator with Trackman technology provides an alternative experience for you to train alone or compete with others indoors – take advantage on rainy days or humid afternoons – or whenever the mood strikes you.

Learn

Lead by Certified Class A PGA Professional Aaron Hieneman, Gadsden Country Club offers golf instruction for all ages, junior golf programs – including summer camps and clinic, Ladies’ Golf Association, a full calendar of member golf tournaments and events, and a full stocked golf shop.

The Course

The centerpiece of Gadsden Country Club is the 18-hole championship golf course. Since its original creation in 1919 by Scotsman George Black, there have been numerous changes; holes have been rerouted and the nines have been flipped. It is unknown who designed the second nine; some have attributed it to the infamous A.W Tillinghast who had visited the area years earlier and was thoroughly impressed. In 1997 world-renowned golf course architect Bill Bergin was brought in to weave his magic and reimagine the golf course.
